An Appendix Quarter Horse, Gaelin was the first horse donated to SHE--before SHE even existed. In answering the question, "What should I do with this horse?" Willa came up with the idea to use good lesson horses to help at risk girls. Later SHE was born and has now expanded to help at risk boys and girls regardless of ability to pay.

At twenty-two, Gaelin is mostly retired. However, since he is exceptional with beginner riders, he still gets out for some light riding. He seems to enjoy it very much.
