Q: What is your season and when can I ride?
A: Usually it begins late March after the mud season and ends the first of December.
Q: How do I pay?
An: We accept cash, check (with I.D.) or Pay Pal (with 3.5% addition). If you have a diagnosis, let us help you advice your sponsor or broker for special services.
Q: What do I wear?
A: Dress in layers for comfort. Long pants (no shorts) should have flat inseam to avoid saddle pinches. Keep your core warm during cold weather with a vest. Protect your skin and eyes with sun protection products.
Q: Do I need boots and a helmet?
A: Closed toed heeled boots for footwear and an equestrian helmet are mandatory safety equipment. All children under the age of majority, which is 18 years of age, must wear a helmet specifically designed for equestrian activities. We have loaner boots and helmets for beginners. Adults are not required to wear a helmet, however, we recommend all special needs clients wear one buckled while on the horse.
Q: Is there a weight limit:
A: Yes. The maximum weight is 225 pounds.
Q: Do I need to book ahead?
A: Yes. Book your reservations. Horses are caught and saddled when you arrive. It’s part of the session.
